About
Our Mission
Founded in 2024, the Still Point Fencing Foundation was created when Still Point Fencing transitioned to a nonprofit structure with a clear purpose: to make the sport of fencing accessible, inclusive, and thriving in Southern Arizona.
The Still Point Fencing Foundation exists to grow the sport of fencing by creating opportunities for youth, families, and adults to discover the discipline, athleticism, and joy that fencing brings. We work to remove barriers, expand programming, and support local athletes so that anyone—regardless of background or experience—can step onto the strip with confidence.
What We Do
• Expand Access
We partner with schools, parks and recreation programs, and community organizations to introduce fencing to new audiences through beginner classes, demonstrations, and outreach programs.
• Support Athlete Development
From equipment scholarships to coach development and competitive training opportunities, we help young fencers build skills and pursue their goals at every level.
• Build Community
We believe fencing is more than a sport—it’s a community that fosters discipline, respect, and lifelong connections. Through events, mentorship, and volunteer opportunities, we strengthen the fencing community in Southern Arizona.
Why It Matters
Fencing teaches focus, strategy, resilience, and confidence. Yet in many parts of Southern Arizona, access to quality fencing instruction is limited. The Still Point Fencing Foundation was created to change that—ensuring that cost, distance, or lack of exposure are never barriers to participation.
